Question 1
(mvc00034.jpg) original has dark shadows corrected it with levels but could not get enough then corrected it with the curves tool and came up with (1a_levelscurve.psd). I prefer the curves tool because it has a more dynamic range. Both tools treat the picture differently and that helps correct problems.

Question 2
I experimented with the variations tool and chose picture (P7311626.jpg). It was dark and needed a little brightness and color adjustment. And came up with picture (2a_variations.psd)


Question 3
(P311449.jpg) was the original I choose to use the levels, vibrance and color balance and came up with
(3a_lvc.psd.psd). I also tried vibrance hue and curves and came up with (3b_vhc.psd).

Question 4
I thought all the tools were interesting. I had a hard time after the book but going back to the video helped. I prefer to use the curves tool along wit the raw cam format. These tools give me the most control.
